For every dollar given to Tomorrow Today Foundation’s Community Fund this year, another dollar will be added.

Tomorrow Today Foundation is aiming to raise $200,000 through their 2015 Challenge Appeal. Over the past six months, the Directors of the Foundation have assembled a group of 20 key supporters who have each pledged to match dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000, money raised from the community.

“The generosity of local benefactors in committing to match every dollar donated to the Appeal is a real incentive to give where you live”, said Sally Gamble, Tomorrow Today Foundation Board Chair. “Every dollar donated by individuals, businesses, social clubs and other groups is worth two dollars into the Community Fund. Whether it’s $5 or $500, making a donation now to Tomorrow Today will result in double the benefit.”

Smith Dosser and OzPlan Benalla have shown their commitment to Benalla by pledging $5,000 to match community contributions.

“The numerous grants that Tomorrow Today has provided throughout the Benalla & District community have benefited a diversity of organisations and programs that we at Smith Dosser and OzPlan Benalla also support,” said Vicki Dosser. “We encourage the public to donate to the TTF Challenge Appeal to enable these opportunities for our community.”

All money raised by the appeal is added to the permanent Community Fund. The income it generates is used to support annual community grants for a broad range of local charitable projects. This was seen last month when the Foundation distributed $32,000 to local organisations, making a total of $165,000 distributed in Benalla and district since Tomorrow Today’s Grants Program began.

Personal donations to the ‘Challenge Appeal’ are tax deductible and can be made over the counter at the local branch of the Bendigo Bank or by visiting Tomorrow Today’s office, Cecily Court Nunn Street (shop 10 down the end of the court); by mail to PO Box 281 Benalla; or by bank transfer –

Sponsorship by local businesses can be claimed as a normal business operating expense and gives even greater flexibility in the range of local organisations that can be supported. All enquiries to Tomorrow Today Foundation on 5762 1211.
