Benalla’s young people have a great opportunity to take part in free Discovery Workshops in the coming school holidays.

Tomorrow Today’s Sally Matheson, who is coordinating the workshops, encourages Benalla young people aged 11 to 16 to get involved.

“The workshops will feature a range of exciting and challenging tasks that will help kids ‘think outside the square’. This is a terrific opportunity for young people to have fun while developing team work, communication, problem-solving and self-reflection skills,” Sally said.

The three hour workshops will help young people develop skills that will be useful both at school and in future work.  There will be a morning and afternoon workshop on Tuesday 2nd July and Wednesday 3rd July 2019.

Tomorrow Today is offering the workshops in partnership with PGT – People Groups Teams, an Australian leader in running programs for young people. PGT’s activities aim to empower and inspire participants.

If you know of a young person aged between 11 to 16 years living in Benalla who would be interested in participating in these workshops, please contact Sally Matheson, Education Benalla Program Manager, on 5762 1211.
