The Friends of Tomorrow Today recently held their first major fundraising event, with the very successful Marangy Open Garden during the Benalla Festival.

There was great interest in the large garden which was beautifully presented, according to Tomorrow Today Executive Officer, Pat Claridge.

“The very significant contribution of a great many volunteers really made the weekend special.”

The food was a highlight, enjoyed in the protected inner garden area.  And the plant stall proved especially popular.

“Our thanks go to all the people who helped in so many ways, including preparing and serving food, growing and selling plants, helping with parking and at the entry gate, the musicians and of course the organising committee,” said Ms Claridge.

The event raised $6,000 towards the work of Tomorrow Today.
