Ian Bird, the new CEO of Community Foundations Australia, is mid-way through a whirl-wind tour of Australia’s community foundations – from Fremantle to Alice Springs, through South Australia, Queensland, NSW and now Victoria.
On Monday, we were delighted to welcome him to Benalla to learn more about Tomorrow Today and the work we do in the Benalla community. Ian shared his insight into how other foundations connect with their communities, not just here in Australia but internationally, and the important role that foundations play in providing continuity and connection for their local communities.
