Did you miss Small Town Sing last time? Maybe you came along to one of the previous singing events and want to have another go – this time with a few more friends! Maybe you secretly love Christmas Carols and want to hide your secret passion in plain sight. Or maybe the thought of hanging out looking out over Lake Benalla with a cold bevvie in hand, belting out a Christmas tune is right up your street. Whatever your reason, your season is here!

After two incredibly successful immersive choir events, Adam Toms and Catherine Burton are staging another, this time with a Christmas angle. Adam explained the rationale behind the event; “We know that Christmas is a notoriously expensive time for everyone, particularly for families or others on a tight budget. So we wanted to raise some funds for Tomorrow Today to assist those in our community who need a little help this Christmas. And of course, we wanted to just get everyone together to sing!”

Once again the song is a closely-guarded secret but Adam promises “It won’t be the Mariah Carey classic that you all hear in every shop in the weeks leading up to Christmas but we can assure you it’s a ripper and we’ll all have lots of fun with it as always.”

Dressing up in the Christmas spirit is strongly encouraged, as is bringing as many willing participants as possible.

The venue for the Christmas Frenzy has changed – this time Munro and Sargeant in the Benalla Art Gallery has come on board and will be hosting the event in the café and on the deck overlooking the lake.

Funds raised on the night will be used by Tomorrow Today to purchase items for food hampers to help those who are finding the holiday period a bit of a challenge.

The event is open to all ages but children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult as alcohol will be available for purchase.

Small Town Sing is being held at 7pm on Friday 8 December. Drinks and light nibbles will be available to purchase.

Tickets are $15 online at https://www.trybooking.com/CNBPP or $20 at the door.
