We are really excited to be participating in the Benalla Street Art Festival this year, with not one but two different live art activations and also playing host to an exhibition!
Uncle Chris Thorne and the young artists from the Anganya program are busily preparing for their collaborative art project. They will be co-creating a circular mural on the Tomorrow Today building at 66 Nunn Street – the story for the mural centres on young people seeking knowledge and learning from Elders. What better way to see that in action than to come along during the festival and watch these young people learn from master artist Uncle Chris.
Where: 66 Nunn St – on the wall that faces out to the RSL Club
When: Throughout the festival – 17-19 April

For those who might like a piece of the festival to take home our Full Impact Squad will be creating skateboard decks in collaboration with featured street artists. Together they will paint one-of-a-kind skateboard decks that will be available for sale.
Proceeds from the sale will be donated to help support the future of the street art festival.
Everyone is invited to come along and witness art in the making, back local young people and meet the artists!
Where: Between the Benalla Information Centre and Ceramic Mural on Mair Street
When: 1-4pm Saturday 18 April
